I like it for the wireless backups of my devices. I like a one-stop shop for all my contacts, notes, and calendars.

If I screw up my phone and pc at the same time I have the comfort of being able to restore a backup wirelessly when I get a new phone.

I should also mention that I have an iPad so the benefits of being able to have my two devices sync because of iCloud is what makes me feel better about it.

Only time will tell how much I will actually use iCloud. But I have to echo the feelings that the wireless backups are really nice.
