iCloud email help

After the ios6 upgrade whenever I open my mailbox I get this pop up that my iCloud password is missing (attached picture) when i enter my apple id password it just keeps popping back up. I dont rememeber having a seperate password??! isnt it my apple id and password?? I checked and from what I can see iCloud is on.. (I signed in with my apple Id when setting up phone...) is it a bug or what am I missing?View attachment 19096
