iCloud backup

Is there a way to set up a certain time for my iPhone 4s to back up to iCloud or to at least know when it's gonna back up? My iPhone backed up at 1015a and when I put it back in the cradle for its nightly charge it went from 11pm to 6am without backing up again. Thanks.

You can't set a time for it to back up. You can manually do it yourself anytime you want as long as you are on wifi. It is suppose to do it anytime it is on the charger with wifi on but once in awhile it doesn't.

Point of clarification from my experience...it doesn't do a backup any time it's on the charger, just once a day, on average. It's certainly not consistent.

Yeah. Sure seems random. Sometimes if I check, it's been a few days, even though it's on wifi and a charger every night. The wifi signal in the bedroom, where it gets charged, isn't very strong and that may have something to do with it.

it's supposed to do it automatically when it's on WiFi and charging. But you can do it on WiFi anytime as well.
