iCloud and Health synching

Greetings, like many, I have multiple iPhones that I use regularly. I thought I had a handle on how to synch the activity data from one device to the other (Settings—>iCloud—>Health toggle off/on to force a synch).

Scenario: I go for an 8 mile jog/run using one device in the early AM. I want the data to synch to any of my other devices that I may choose to use for the rest of the day.

Can anyone tell me how this is quickly (keyword: QUICKLY (5-10 minutes at most done)?

Apple says this will accomplish what you want:
Go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > see if the Health is toggled on. If so, all you have to do now is just log in to the same account on your new iPhone, and all of your health info will be synchronized.

And, I can't find any advice more recent than that. And, I don't have two iphones to experiment.

Sorry.
