I saw an article on 9to5mac with hidden options on ios 5. I follow the instructions and couldn't find the file. Is it different because I'm on a beta?

Which file are you trying to find?
I am on 5.0.1 beta 2 and just enabled the Panoramic pictures mode using iBackupbot. If that is what you are looking to do, the "com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist" file is there..........you just missed it.
It works BTW.

Just looked again. If you are trying to find the file for the autocorrect word selector menu, the file isn't there on mine either. I checked an old backup from my ip4 on OS5 (non beta) and it was also NOT there.
