i5-2.0 GHz with 16GB RAM or i5-2.7 GHz with 8GB RAM, Which configuration is better?

I am planning to buy new MacBook Pro 2016.
I am intermediate user of laptop. I will primarily use it for normal tasks and will run softwares like... MS Office,MATLAB,Latex, photoshop, Lightroom and sometimes video editing.
I don't care about touchbar drama. I need good battery life.
But I am confused between this option.
MacBook Pro without touch bar i5- 2.0 GHz/16GB/512GB
Or
MacBook Pro with touch bar i5-2.7GHz/8GB/512GB.
Please give your feedback.

I'd go for 2.0 Ghz... . Reason being. Memory is the main concern..
