I want to take iCloud photo off iCloud and put on flash drive please help

I want to share 400 photos with family on a flash drive. how do I get it off the cloud using my MAC desk top

log in to iCloud.com and you can view there and download and put on dropbox or flash drive.

Here is a guide that will assist you in doing just what you want. Then put the photos on a flash drive once they are on your Mac.

On Your Mac:

1. Go to the photos app.
2. If you already have pictures in the app that you don't want to upload, move your library file and create a new one. Set the new one as your system photo library by going to Preferences->General->"Use as System Photo Library".
   
3. Make sure that Preferences->iCloud->"Download Originals to this Mac" is checked.
   
4. Check Preferences->iCloud->"iCloud Photo Library".
   
5. Now all your iCloud photos will download.
