I was downloading specific pictures into a file from an iphone 7+ to my macpro. the mac downloaded most of the pictures from the phone and intermingled them with my pictures on the mac. How do I get them off my mac and back on the iphone?

You could Air Drop those pictures from your MacPro unto your iPhone and then delete the pictures desired on your MacPro
