I used a Gevey Sim and a lot of my features on my iPhone 5 are gone. Why?

I used a Gevey Sim on my iPhone 5 from Sprint to Straight Talk. The problem is that now I only have edge internet (lame), and most of the spots I am at I don't have signal.

Also the LTE option is completly gone from my Iphone. Before I had an option to turn it off and on. Straight Talk has really good service from the times I have used it in the past so I know it's not straight talk. And they also claim that they give LTE even for the bring your own phone deal.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

I've never used a Gevey SIM so I can't advise, however, hopefully some of the members who have used or still use a Gevey Sim will comment soon. In the meantime, have a great day...
