I spilled shampoo on my iPad charger what should I do?

My iPad charger was in a bag with shampoo and then it leaked all over my charger but not the cable so how should I clean and will it spoil? I am too afraid to plug it in

If you’re unsure of whether or not the shampoo entered the square charging block or even if you’re sure that it did, then I recommend you go out and purchase another one. No one here at iMore will want you to risk injuring yourself or risk damaging your iPad.

After shampoo I usually use conditioner, but that's just me.

All joking aside, I agree with D. If you're at all worried it may affect the charger, I would get a new one. You don't want to damage your device or injure yourself.
