I lost album artwork updating to 8.4, how can I get it back?

lost album artwork updating to 8.4

while i was updating to 8.4, i lost my album artwork to my music that i had not purchased on itunes. Was wanting to know how to restore the artwork to my music on my phone. My phone is a 6 plus. Thank You

If you've added the artwork to iTunes, you could sync your phone and see if that helps.

Re-sync your music. It will sync your album artwork. I had that problem. All is well now.

Just the opposite for me. The album art that wasn't there before gets these nice banners in place of album art.
