I have one PC and two iPads, I would like each to get their own mail. How can I set this up?

iMore Question

I have one PC and two ipads, i would like each to get their own mail.

At the moment when mail arrives it goes to both pads. Each pad has its own address.

Each iPad must have a unique email address for this to work they way you want it to work.

  • Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Under the Accounts section, remove any accounts that you do not want on each device. The iCloud entry should be there, and it will offer multiple functions, including iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, etc.
  • For other types of accounts, only the basic info is available: Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Reminders.
  • For some types of accounts, Mail may be the only option.
  • Turn on/off the Mail option or delete the account completely to prevent you from receiving email on that account on that iPad.
