I have an apple iphone 6S Plus and am new to iphones. How do I turn on speaker phone

When using the phone I do not see a speakerphone icon like I do with an android phone

When using the phone I do not see a speakerphone icon like I do with an android phone

You will not see it until a call comes in or you are dialing out. It will then give you the option to use the speaker.

Just to clarify what @pkcable said, it's the button with the speaker on it labeled "speaker".
