Ok, so long story, but going to try and make it short. 2 years ago, an ex-installed spyware/malware on my android and my PC. Since that time, I have changed phones - numerous times and factory reset PC plus paid a PC expert to have it scanned yet again after restoring PC. He found nothing, "suspicious" on my PC. I have joined the Apple iPhone game since I have been told it is IMPOSSIBLE to hack an iPhone. Ok, I will bite......so I setup a new phone number with a separate carrier and get my new iPhone 7 plus. I have not jailbroken this phone, don't care to. Setup my appleid with two factor and an email address made up just for that ID. Cruise along just to find screenshots of MY TEXT MESSAGES on my girlfriend’s phone. Well, I take it to a MAC engineer to reset this phone. He said my apple id has been compromised. Ok, I must log in and remove the device from my appleid. Just to find out I am locked out and now the phone will not receive text messages nor bubbles for apple id login. I must click on the, "call me" feature. Phone goes crazy for a few minutes. Mac engineer resets phone and I setup WITHOUT apple id attached to this phone and a new SIM from my carrier. I had to eventually add an appleid to this phone, so I could download apps for work. So, she is in there again. I used an email address specifically for THAT appleid account. I did that at a local library and have not logged into that account since then period. I know she is in this phone because my hacker references personal talks and discussions via spoof texting my girlfriends phone number. I give up on that one. I usually carry it around in airplane mode and, “check in” every so often. Don’t know if this helps, but probably not.

I also have an iPhone SE with another number, the original one I had when I was with the stalker/hacker. This phone is with a different carrier so both phones are NOT tied to the same carrier accounts, let alone the same carriers. This phone DOES NOT HAVE AN APPLIED attached to it. I switched this phone from another SE, so the MAC and IMEI, IMSI numbers would be different. Now, I am seeing text message references from this phone yet AGAIN, not screenshots mind you, but proof of the content of the text messages. Hacker spoofs my g/f number when she texts me, hence how I know the hacker knows the content of my text messages. So........how come I have this issue on a phone that is NOT tied to an apple id and a phone that has been reset with a new SIM on an, "impossible" to hack iPhone?
As soon as I change ANYTHING, hacker gets immediately back in.

She has had ZERO access to any of my devices in over a year. I have had 3 or 4 phones since then.

I'll bite....

1. No smartphone or computer is IMPOSSIBLE to hack.
2. Simply changing the passcode associated with your Apple ID should have been sufficient.
3. If you created a brand new Apple ID and passcode AND entered it into a brand new iPhone that no one had access to, I highly doubt someone hacked it.
4. If you bought a new iPhone and then restored that iPhone with backup from the alleged hacked device then you basically restore the hack.

Do the following:

1. Change the passcode to your Wi-Fi network.
2. Change the passcode associated with your current Apple ID.
3. Put your iPhone either in recovery mode or DFU mode and then select "Restore" via iTunes.
4. When the process is complete and you are met with the welcome screen, proceed to set up the device as new and NOT from a backup.
5. Use a lock screen passcode, enable TouchID or FaceID, if applicable.
6. Don't let anyone use your iPhone.
7. Don't leave your iPhone lying around to where someone can touch it.
8. Change the your passcode every 3 or 4 months.

Thank you for the reply. This is why I am here.

Ok, so the phone that had the first appleid hacked was my iPhone7 plus. I got this from a different carrier with a new phone number. I setup my appleid from a secure location with an email I setup at that time. I have never logged into either one since then with the exception of the appleid to remove my device. I used a weird email address and very long complicated passwords and I do not reuse passwords for multiple accounts. I insert symbols, upper case and lower case letters as well as numbers. So everything on the iPhone 7 plus was brand new.....carrier - phone from the carrier - phone number - appleid - email address associated with that appleid. So highly doubt someone hacked it.....I sure do want to agree with you. But seeing screenshots of MY text messages on THAT phone show up on my girlfriends phone requires some type of explanation to me. After all it is ONLY my privacy. You know, stalking is one thing, restraining and ex-parte orders.....there is something with some meat on it to stop and prevent future stalking. But stalking this way can go on for years. I am looking for true privacy and I am quickly learning that true privacy is nothing more than a facade people relish in while enjoying complacency.

I figured having and iPhone SE with NO appleid would be secure as there is only ONE account tied to that phone since I cannot download any apps. The one account being the carrier account. But she's in that one too. How can you download spy software to an iPhone that has no appleid attached to it? Let alone remotely, again I haven't seen this person in over a year. Every time I tried to download an app to the SE it asks me to attach it to an appleid account. So downloading apps to it is out of the question, or is it? This SE is a separate phone provider and a different number than the iPhone 7 plus.

Suggestions? Hell explanations....SS7 hack?

1. Why would someone want to hack into your iPhone?
2. There is no way for hacking software to get on your brand new device without someone having had physical contact with it or at least be in the vicinity to clone your SIM card.
3. Do you have a setting to forward your text messages? If so, what device or devices are listed and does it or one of them belong to the girl you mentioned?
4. Have you notified local authorities? If not, why?
5. Have you contacted Apple Support regarding this matter. There may be instructions associated with your account that you’re unaware of.

1- Why - Because she is psycho? I can't even begin to try and describe human behavior.....but that is the first thing that comes to mind.
2- Well, I am curious about this point. Hence, why I suggested and SS7 hack. But look, no one has TOUCHED this phone except for me. Everyone said, new phone, new number and new carrier. I do know my appleid was hacked evne with two-factor enabled. I was never notified of any such compromise via text, apple bubble on the screen or email. I also know that software can be downloaded to a device from your online account, just do not know to what extent. All I know is, she is in there and never has any problem getting in there. Just FYI - she lives in another state.
3- Do not have any text messages forwarded to my knowledge, I didn't realize you could do that.
4- Yes, went to authorities and got laughed out of there, was told someone would be in contact with me. Been 3 weeks and still waiting for this contact.
5- Apple support defends their position in regards to the security of their phones. They keep telling me they are limited on the support they can provide for accounts since they don't have access themselves.

I just want my privacy back. But I am learning that this is impossible with electronic devices.

If you share the same Apple ID with her, then she can see your iMessages. If you don't share the same Apple ID, Then there's no way she could, without searching your phone for it.

Be sure your info in messages> send and receive is correct. Uncheck all the email address

Am I the only one who still doesnt fully grasp whats actually happening here?

Someone is messaging you from what appears to be your girlfriends number and then taking screenshots of those messages and sending them to your actual girlfriend? Whose number sends your girlfriend the screenshots?

Theres no possibility that anyone but the people who have physical access to your phone could access your phone after you've changed carriers, phones, sims, Apple ID's, and passwords and set all this up in a library. Then to also have this happen on a phone not using an Apple ID.

I'd be asking the people who have physical access to my devices, specifically my girlfriend, what the deal is.

I am very sorry about the confusion. It is baffling me too. But I will rundown with this again.

The ex/hacker that lives in another state has access to ALL of my devices somehow no matter what I do. Just NOT PHYSICAL access.

My girlfriend I live with is not the hacker.

The hacker will take screenshots of text messages I have on MY phone(s) plural and SEND them to my girlfriend via blocked SMS.

When the ex/hacker texts me she, "spoofs" my girlfriends number. So when my girlfriend shows up as sending me a text message, it may or may not be from my actual girlfriend, but the ex/hacker.

Are we all really confused now? I have a legitimate issue and am looking for some ideas as to how I can protect myself first, secondly gain my privacy. The ex/hacker has actually duplicated what appears to be text messages between myself and other people that never existed. I went so far as to get the other person I was supposedly texting involved to show my girlfriend that we in fact truly we not texting each other. That is WAY too much power to have over ANYONE. The ex/hacker can obviously do whatever she wants and make it look like its me doing it.

I would likely password everything from then on and never let anyone touch my phone. But I have never seen stalkers yet do that to me, thankfully.

Paul, I'm sorry you're having issues. I really have no knowledge to share that would help you. I do however, have a suggestion. Have you considered consulting with a cyber security specialist?

You need to check which devices are logged in to your Apple account. With the changes you say you have made, I don't see how anyone could see your iMessages, unless they have your Apple ID log in credentials. I would talk to Apple Support again and see if they see any unusual activity on your account. You might also check with your carrier support. See if there's another device somehow using your number or anything unusual. Did you ever share your Apple ID with your ex? If she or anyone else had it, and you changed it all, then they shouldn't be able to access it. Apple should be able to tell you if there is access by another device.

Hmmmmmm...two possibilities here....

One, your current and ex are the same person, or.....

Two, your current and ex are besties and they are snow jobbing you big time.

Not Quite Right - I so wish you could experience what I am telling here. Scary that you do not believe this. But hey we are all entitled to opinions.

Lee_Bo and TylerLV76 - As far as Ex and current even knowing each other.....no not at all. Never knew each other before, never knew each other after. Just not very likely. Current has gotten some pretty interesting messages as well. There is screenshot after screenshot after screenshot. Printed off one of the, "folders" I created for taking to authorities and used over 200 sheets of paper. There are numerous screenshots. Anyone reading it would not have any doubt that these two not being in cahoots.

Annie_8plus - I would love to talk to a cyber security specialist. I was hoping for something to help when I came on here.

Ledeteplin - How do I check which devices are logged into my appleid? No, I never shared ANY usernames or passwords from ANY accounts with the Ex.

Current and I downloaded the Signal app and I created a, "google" phone for lack of a better term. I then blocked her number so I did not receive any more messages via text. Neither has current. But after about 3 or so days we both started getting emails from, "guerillamail.com" accounts. Research those.....ugh......................

I really do appreciate the replies. I just want this madness to stop. Geez get over it already.

I would call Apple Support. They should be able to help. There's not much you can do if someone has your email address. You might can access your email on a computer and set up that guerilla address as Spam or Junk. Not sure. If it's bad enough, you might consider a new email address.

I just posted on forum but not sure if it went to right place. I have been dealing with same thing with iPhone sending texts to friends I didn’t send and replying to texts that I didn’t reply too. Additionally, Apple can’t even figure out how to turn off my share location. I continually do a hard factory reset and it only takes an hour before he back in my phone. At&t have witnessed my phone doing all and were shocked what they saw but again, they don’t what to do. I have switched so many phones, carriers, laptops and the problems always come back. Interestingly, I went into hiding for one year and during that time I did not have any issues but then I returned and it all began again. I have so many photos, logs etc showing evidence but the police unfortunately are not knowledgeable enough in cybercrime/phone tech to be of any assistance. Please send me a private message or dm bc I have been trying so hard to make this man stop. From my home macs to my phone- he never stops. It’s very sad one is able to control another’s life through technology but it happens to be true and I feel empathy for those who have nothing better to do with their time. The more of us that can ban together can hopefully put an end to this problem. My privacy is no longer privacy. Very sad
