i have a jio connection and an iPhone. Not able to activate iMessage and Facetime?

I'm not able to activate my iMessage and Facetime on the iPhone after getting a jio connection. I have tied toggling the buttons, logging out and back in the iCloud,and every thing else. Please help.

To activate iMessage and FaceTime with your number, your iPhone sends off an international message for recognition with servers (that are located in Ireland I believe). Thus it may simply be an issue related to international messaging: first of all, check if you have enough credit to send an international message; if you do, your account may not be able to send this kind of message (you should check with the carrier itself)
