I did as told in trying to get my name straightened out but it still shows wrong

I followed directions but Game Center still has changed my name for when I sign in to play my games

Go back to the Game Center settings and then tap on your name that's in your Game Center Profile. After that, tap on the name underneath "Nickname" to change it.
