Which device are you attempting to use Whatsapp with? It will only install on iPhones to my knowledge.

Not sure I understand your question- can you not get it to work or you cant download it? It seems to be working fine for me- as already stated unless Jailbroken- it cannot be installed on an ipod touch or ipad.
