Welcome! I was with Samsung for four years and left after the Note 7 debacle. Never going back! It'd take an act of the man upstairs!

Disclaimer: I was with iPhone from 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 5C and 6. Passed on 6 Plus through 6S Plus with my wandering on Samsung.

Congrats on your new iPhone! Looks like we don't have to tell you that you'll enjoy it because you already know!

I was a Samsung loyalist for years. The last iPhone I had before my 7 Plus was the iPhone 4S, so it's been a long time ago. After dealing with two different recalls from the Note 7, I decided to stay with iPhone. I'm tired of trying to keep up with the Android technology. The flagship iPhones only come out once per year and that's so much easier on the wallet than trying to keep up with every new Android phone.

My sister in law just came to the iPhone 7 from an LG phone. She wanted to know why I didn't talk her in to doing it sooner. She loves it.

I have had just about every Samsung phone since the S3 along with every iPhone since the 4.

I have had the 7 Plus since October and don't have any interest in anything else right now.

In the last two weeks I've picked up AirPods and an Apple Watch so I'm slowly settling into the Apple ecosystem. My family is pretty firmly established in it already so it works well for me too.

I highly recommend armorsuit screen protector for your watch. My brother recommended to me. I got mine on ebay. Just installed it. Enjoy the watch. I have my Samsung S2 and that's why I switched because it works with it. But I did get the Apple Watch too and also the iPad Pro 12.9. I am happy with Apple and not just the eating kind. LOL

I heard the Elite x3 was a nice phone. I still have my Lumia 950 XL, now in a drawer as I got my 7 Plus today. I'll most probably miss it though. But to help with grieving, I opted for the 7 Plus to have a "similar" phone in specs and size (5.5", 3GB of ram and awesome camera).

The plus is a beautiful phone. It is the only phone I was considering when making the switch from Android. Love a big screen and it had me at first glance. But the closer was when I found out could use my Samsung watch even though I did cave in and got the Apple Watch too.

I started with Android 1.0 back on 2008. I've had combinations of HTC, LG, Samsung, Motorola, Google and Nexus devices. I had the Nexus 6P when I switched to iOS and the 6 s Plus, and now the 7 Plus. Going to stay with iOS a while. Never had a Windows phone and never will.

Hi to all... it's nice to meet you... I've been with Apple iPhones since I got my first iPhone, which was a 4. Prior to that, I had something called a T-Mobile Dash, which I loved, but it wasn't a smart phone and we decided that iPhones were for us. No regrets ever. It's fun reading your stories though!

I also was with Android over the last 8 years. I haven't been with Apple since the......3G. Been a while. I still like Android. Hard to just cutoff entirely just like that. I had the Note series forever and really wanted the Note 7 but we all know how that went. I have the 7Plus now and love it.
