I’ve successfully replaced the battery in my iPhone 5s but now the home button isn’t working. HELP!

Didn’t have any problems getting the battery replaced, phone powered back up but now the home button isn’t working. What can I try to fix it? I’ve taken it apart several times

Do you mean the fingerprint sensor is not working or the home button in general?

Take it back to the Apple store where they replaced the battery. They should fix it without charging you.

He unsuccessfully changed the battery himself. My guess is that the flat cable is somehow broken.

But like you said, it’s best to take it in to Apple and have it fixed.

Like you, I’m under the impression he replaced the battery himself.
