How WouldYou Improve iMessage?

If you were the software engineer in charge of writing iMessage, What would you do to improve it or add to it to make it even better?

Other than making it a little more reliable, I'd make it possible to reply from the notification without exiting the current app. (I realize this is probably more a change to iOS itself, but it's the feature I most want.)

Make it more like BBM regarding features. Not a PIN. BBM can do a lot more.

How about syncing accurately across all devices & MacBooks
I often have to delete iMessages from my MBA that already have been deleted from my iPhone or iPad.
