How well does the 6 plus fit in your pockets?

First of all I would love to say this device is just beautiful. It's big, thin and fast and everything I asked for.
In saying this, I did the pocket tester and here are my results

1) I wear fitted chinos most of the time and with no issue at all the phone fits pretty well without it sticking out.
2) Skinny jeans can be a bit of a problem depending on how deep your pocket is and the phone will protrude pretty well :-/.
3) Since the phone is big, each time I walk It feels as though the phone will fall out of my pocket but in reality it won't lol. This will take time to get used to.
How is your experience with the iPhone 6 plus in your pocket? Does it fit? Any issues?

I wear Levi 527's and have no problem in my back pockets. It sticks out some, but my 5S did too in its Otterbox Defender. Front pockets, don't like having anything in them so not even worth the test for me.

I'm not a fan of back pockets placement due to the fact someone can easily steal your phone since it'll be sticking out.

I'm pretty aware of my surroundings. They are also tight enough that you pretty much have to grab ahold of my **** to even try.

In my standard pockets, it seems just fine. I don't wear the "skinny jeans" (all those around me are grateful or this), and no problem fitting in my jeans pockets. My cargo shorts also pose no problem. Khakis and dress pants are fine. Only pockets that come close to being incompatible are "athletic" shorts, and I generally don't have my phone with me when I'm wearing those. (If I'm exercising, I usually have a "belt" or arm band (will have to re-think this with the plus).) In summary, all good so far!

This wouldn't be advisable. You are putting undue torsional stress on the phone which can put micro-fine cracks in the traces(electrical pathways) on the circuit boards. This can severely shorten the life of the phone.

Interesting. I always carry my phone in my hip pocket and I am planning to do the same with my new iPhone 6+.

I wear normal fit jeans and the phone fits fine. The thinness of the phone really offsets the feeling of having a large phone in your pocket. However, I do notice it when I sit down since the phone is pretty tall, so I'll probably just make it a habit to take it out of my pocket before I sit. Other than that as long as you don't wear really tight fitting clothes it's not that bad.

A couple of girls I was standing in line with today at Verizon said that they don't want the 6 plus cause women's pant pockets are a lot more shallow than men's which could be a problem when they don't have a purse on them.

Fits fine walking around, but found it kind of annoying in my front pocket while driving...thankfully that's a habit I was trying to break since it makes it difficult to get access to if I need to while driving.

Oh, and it's too big to fit properly in my cup holder now, LOL!

I’m an old guy. No clue about "skinny jeans". I wear cargo shorts about 11 months out of the year. No problem dropping my 6 Plus down in one of those big pockets. It does fit fine in my back jeans pocket - where I’ve carried every cell phone that I’ve ever owned.

Skinny jeans and extra baggy jeans...Never understood the appeal. In one case you can't stay mobile without tripping over jeans around your ankles, in the other case your man parts are just punished for no particular reason, and I'm not into self inflicted bondage stuff.

Maybe I'm just cut from a different cloth, but if I'm wearing jeans, then the primary goal is comfort, not style. So my jeans are generally loose enough to be comfortable, but not so baggy that I'm tripping over or worrying about flashing/mooning the people around me. If that makes me "old," then I wear that badge with honor.

I'm with you brother! I'm looking at a pair of cargo khakis I just bought at Old Navy..."Loose fit/Comfort", and that's all I needed to see.

I like my cargo shorts. Enough pockets to carry the things I need, but I make sure they are close to staying up on their own. If I want to moon people, I want to make sure it's a deliberate act. :)

From now on I guess we should all take the iPhone into consideration whenever we buy pants or shorts. =)

I was quite concerned about this, especially if my phone is in my pocket while I'm driving but surprisingly it fits just fine. I'm more aware that it's there but no problems at all. Phew!
