For updating to iOS 9.1.its not being possible..it says"an error occurred while checking for a software update" What should I do??

Welcome to iMore! Try updating through iTunes. Or try soft resetting your device by holding down the power button and home button simulaneously until you see the Apple boot logo and then trying again.
