how to transfer pics fr iphone to laptop

I would like to take pics with my iphone to post on line.
Could you tell me how to transfer them from my iphone5 to laptop?

Either use iTunes or configure iCloud on both your iPhone and your laptop. Alternatively, you can email the pics to yourself or upload the pics from your iPhone to a cloud service like OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., and then access them via your computer.

I use OneDrive. I work a lot with image editing, graphic design and I need almost all the pictures I have on my iPhone on my computer so that I can work. So I use to have the OneDrive app on my phone, it syncs my photos automatically for the app and then I have access on my computer. Simple as that.
