How to stop software updating?

So my ipad started automatically updating to ios7. Please help me fast i don't want it. How i can stop it?

You can't.

Go to settings on your iPad and click on "iTunes & App Store, look for "automatic downloads" and turn "updates off". There you go

You can do that in the middle of an update though?

I waited until there were no updates then I changed the setting
