How to send a calendar event from one iPhone to another, and no 'invitees' option is available

I tried your tutorial but when I opened 'edit' there was not an 'invitees' option.

We don't have iCloud or anything like that, but wifi should be fine for this ...I would think.

I want to send certain calendar events from my iPhone to my husbands.

You need to have some sort of shared calendar on a server somewhere - it doesn't have to be iCloud... and that is what's necessary... wifi really has no bearing on this.
