How to save individual text messages

There are text messages that have important information. I want to save them somewhere on my phone where I can have easy access to them

Take screenshots of them and put them in an Album in the Photos app.

Forward them to a SMS non iMessage email address, then drop them in a folder. You could even create a new folder and title it "Messages".

I could't decide which was the better workaround! SO combined for best answer!

Not indefinitely

If you have messages set to "forever" in settlngs > Messages, they are all in the messages app if you want to scroll up far enough. They may be backed up in iCloud. But I'm not sure they can be viewed at iCloud.com on computer.
