How to remove duplicate contacts

Does anyone know how to remove duplicate contacts with out having to go in and delete them 1 by 1...there has to be a easier way...I certainly didn't put them there on purpose it was something done with iTunes so there has to be a way to undo it...any help would greatly be appreciated

It is a very good app and I have had to use it before and then deleted it once it worked. You can take kch50428s word on this one.

I have not... but by the looks of it, there's protection to undo anything you've done if needed...

first make a good list in IE Google yahoo or what ever email service you are using.
go to i cloud .com log in then go contacts and there's a gear at the bottom select all from drop down list. and delete
and then re syc.
