Against my very good judgment i tried, through iTunes, to update my iPhone 4 with the iOS 7.1.2 and it is now frozen with the iTunes logo and the sync cable.tried to reboot it but it dose not help. Is the only solution going to an istore? or retailer to fix it? Need my phone ASP

Connect the device to your computer and let iTunes restore it. Afterwards, set it up as a new device. You may have to do it a few times, depending on the problem and especially if your iPhone was jailbroken and you opted to erase all contents and settings.
