How to play Halo 2+ on Mac

So recently I'm in the mood to play Halo 2 at least but my original Xbox doesn't work so was just wondering if there was a way to get a newer Xbox controller and getting the game and playing on my Mac and possible getting the newer games as well and all without installing Windows. I'm sure this isn't possible but just want to hear from those who are familiar to make sure.

You're going to have to use Windows.

You could look into using WINE, but it's very "YMMV"-y.
