I did that for a while. But then I kept forgetting. And I realized I wasn't noticing any difference. So I don't bother with it anymore. I do keep a check on what's using location and push notifications. And I keep my brightness down as much as possible.

Hmmm, maybe they've finally got the FB app under control. I'd just use Safari but I kinda like notifications
