How to have the phone on 'speaker' when taking calls?

New iPhone user and can't work out how to have phone on 'speaker' when taking calls. Find it hard to listen with phone on side of head.

Also, how do I download songs to use as ringtones like on Samsung?

Any help much appreciated

When on a call, look at the screen and then tap on the icon above “speaker”.

You have to put Ringtone songs in iTunes. I've never done it. Maybe someone else can explain how. Otherwise, you have to purchase ringtones from iTunes.
