How to get the iPhone 8 Plus to stop disconnecting WiFi when on standby/Lock mode.

I’ve seen a lot of chatter about this issue but yet no solution. So I’m reaching out to you guys for some help. My iPhone 8 Plus keeps disconnecting wifi when in sleep/lock mode and it’s getting really annoying that when I have it backing up on iCloud or anything that requires WiFi gets interrupted and I’m forced to restart. I’ve never had this issue with my iPhone 6 Plus with any router or network. The 8 Plus does this no matter the router and it’s truly frustrating...

Thanks. That just means Apple needs to exchange mine if it’s just mine doing it.

It also happens with my 5s and 8 so I got a new WiFi router still no luck. Very annoying bug

I haven’t had this issue either. And I hadn’t heard about it. Agree you do need to go to Apple about it. I hope you can get it exchanged!

iPhone cant disconnect from WiFi while in standby. There is no option for that. I think it could be something related to your router or its settings

Have not had this problem with my 8 plus. Did you try resetting network settings?
