I don't think I've eve screen a setting for that.
Could be apps or your settings. Review those.

If you purchased when it came out that was around year and a half ago. A battery will loose some of its holding power over time. I would think after a year it wouldn't be the same as when you first get it. If it's within a year bring it to Apple stoge

If your iPad is jailbroken you can install an app called BatteryLife to check your battery's discharge cycles, wear level etc..
