How to email two photos in one message?

Is there any way to email more than one photo in the same message? I'm using an iPhone 3GS, latest OS. When browsing my photos it's easy to mail one of them - but I can't find any way to put more than one photo in an email. I have tried copy and paste, and it seems to work - that is, two photos appear in the outgoing email - but only one photo arrives at the destination.

Go into your photos - then click the bottom left hand corner icon - select up to 5 images you'd like to send - then click share.
