How To Display Keyboard In Reachability Mode?

Hi all,

I still can't figure out how to have my keyboard appear when in reachability mode.

I can see all the text messages, emails etc in half screen, but don't see anyway to respond to them.

Is there some kind of setting I need to turn on?

I'm pretty sure it is impossible to show the keyboard when you are in reachability mode.

Really? I thought the whole point of it was to be able to type with one hand?

Reachability was designed to be able to reach the upper half of the screen while holding it one-handed.
As soon as you tap on whatever needed to be reached it slides back up. I hardly use it, and forget it is there most of the time.
