How to delete multiple emails at once?

Is there a way to delete many emails at once? With having to check each one? I found the solution to tap the edit button then check each message you want to delete then tap delete. But can I delete all at once?
Any help would be great.

No there isn't a way to just delete all. The best solution is the edit button like you said.
