How To Create .zip Without _MACOSX Folder?

Is there an easy way to do this? If I use the built in Compress command, my zips include this extra folder. I'd prefer not to have it?when I send zips of iPhone themes, the _MACOSX folder shows up in Winterboard and confuses some users.

I've seen some people talk about YemuZip?any users here?

There's also one called Zip Cleaner that you use after you create the standard Mac zip which removes all that stuff.

with yemuzip ( YemuZip - Free Zip Tool for Mac OS X ) you can choose if you want to make a zip file with or without the _MACOSX-folder.
It's free from their website I believe, but costs 3-4 USD in the AppStore.

I use PathFinder as my Finder replacement... and it has a configuration setting to create ZIP files with or without the _MACOSX-folder stuff.
