Basically, I just want to know if anyone opened the lid of the Macbook Air and just browsed. Is there a way to check Activity or via console or terminal?

When you open the lid of a MacBook, whether the Air or the Pro, the machine boots up to the login screen, if enabled. After logging in, you can indeed initiate the Safari browser and then browse the web, if that’s what you want to browse.

With that being said, there is a built-in activity monitor for you to use.

Terminal will indicate the last log-in. You could check the browser history, but any unauthorised person might well have deleted that.
