how to change settings on iMessage for mac book air

How to change settings on iMessage for mac book air. I want to be able to have "Show Subject Field" turned off like I have it on my iPhone.

Go into iMessage through your settings app just like you would on your phone. Scroll to messages and open it up. Scroll down to SMS/MMS and Toggle Off where it says Show subject field and that is it. Good luck and thank you.
