How to blur out an area of a picture or a video…

I’ve seen where a specific area of a picture or video can be blurred out to protect someone’s identity or sensitive information. Can anyone direct me to an app that can be used to accomplish this. Thank you in advance.

Never looked at this one - does the free version do enough for most uses, or are there in-app purchases that are somewhat needed to unlock common tools?

I’m a little unsure of Skitch. I have to explore it a little more but it looks like it hasn’t been updated in like six years.

The free version is more than enough if all you want to do is blur, use arrows, etc. I’ve never needed anything more than what the free version offered.

I’m a little unsure of Skitch. I have to explore it a little more but it looks like it hasn’t been updated in like six years.

It still works. I use it on my iPhone, iPad and my Mac (both personal and work-issued).
