How stop ICloud update from blocking rest of my IPhone 6 programs?

I

iMore Question

Ignorantly, I OKed Apple's updating my ICloud account. Soon, when I opened my IPhone 6 again, there was a notice ICloud was updating. But I could not go past that notice. I couldn't even see another program. Only that notice. I have my phone set to go off after 5 minutes of no activity. So, despite my hopes of continuing the ICloud update and then returning to my other programs, 5 minutes is not enough. Every turn on, all I get is the ICloud is updating notice. So I have no phone at this point. Just a gizmo reporting that ICloud is updating. Any suggestions on what to do?
