How Is OS 4.2.1 Performance on iPhone 3G?

Has anyone noticed a performance boost on an iPhone 3G after installing iOS 4.2.1? Thanks!

i have to say i've been really pleased with it. settings, camera, email, sms and keyboard were a joke with 4.0|4.0.1|4.0.2

iOS 4.1 was better, but not good enough

if you're going do do it i would restore as new so you can start fresh and not carry over anything that may be in question

Performance wise, I like it better than 4.1. However, I'm disappointed that the 3G didn't get the search in a Safari page. That was the one thing I had hoped for.

I'm waiting for the jailbreak but are there any features added to the 3G, I haven't been able to find anything solid.

didn't see any update of the 3G, and iOS4.2 seems to be good
