How has emoji changed you "ilife" recently ?

The day before yesterday, TheiPhoneBlog posted an article about adding emoji to you iPhone without having to jailbreak it (article here). The next day (yesterday) I noticed a flood of emoticons being used on twitter from all my theiPhoneBlog Tweet people. It was really humorous to see this. But the real question... How has the emoticons helped you and changed the way you use text in the app? List them here!

I use the emoticons in my calendar, SaiSuke (review coming soon) and even in the normal Calendar app to denote whether it is an important event, semi-important event by using the icons.

I have definitely started using them heavily...and for no real good reason besides I think they look cool. I like how you are using yours to be more productive, whereas most of the people are treating it like a new toy (myself included)!

Wow! Never even thought about using emoji to be productive! Way to go! I just use it to have fun =D

I used it a lot the first day but not so much now. Guess I got over it fast. Also when you send SMS to non-iphone users, it scrambles the whole message, so they cant see anything and I mass SMS a lot. and they are useless outside of the iphone so ppl dont always get what you're doing - inside joke... too bad for them! But they are cool.

yeah. I have a lot of friends that have an iPhone, so it's okay for me for sending SMS. On some of my friends' phone they appear as little squares, but the rest of the text comes in to them just fine.
