How early at AT&T tomorrow (June 29)?

What's a good time to arrive at AT&T? (Not necessarily to be the first in line)

I'm wondering how early those of you who are going to AT&T tomorrow will arrive. Seems that all AT&T stores (not sure about kiosks) will be open at 7am local time.

I'm going to one about 45 minutes north of downtown Minneapolis and was thinking about arriving at 5am. There are several stores closer to downtown than this one, so I'm hoping the demand will be lower.

Anyone have any experience with launches at AT&T stores? Suggestions? Does anyone think 5am is way too late? Anyone know about supply? (I don't want to sit in a line behind 50 people if supplies are 20ish)

Thanks!

I bet the stock At&t gets is nothing close to what Apple had and many people did not get one. I say get there at early as possible and say at least a couple hours before opening. I would if I didnt get one from Apple

I will be getting there about 6:30 - 7:00 when they open. I feel that the majority of people that wanted an i4 got one. So I don't think there are going to be huge lines or anything. Plus I just don't think where I live the demand will be very high also, we have like 5 AT&T stores within about 15 miles. They might even have left overs. I guess it really just depends how much they get in.

Actually, I heard there were only around 100 waiting in Apple's line at the Rosedale (closest) location when they sold out. Not sure how that compares to the rest of the nation. And most of them signed up for Apple's Priority List, too.

I'm wondering how many phones the AT&T kiosk will get where I live. It's obviously smaller so I'm not expecting too much supply-wise.

Just remember... you will not see the huge quantities of supply as Apple stores. If Att were to only get 50-100, it will sell out very quick. Hopefully they get much more

I'm gonna be there tonight about dark :30. I wouldn't think that the fact that people got them will help but hurt the cause. The exposure it has gotten over the last week is just going to make interest greater. Better be there early or sorry.

The earlier the better. If early means 11pm the
night before, then do it. Those that will get to
the store around opening won't have too much
of a shot as I don't see the supplies being a lot
at AT&T.

Exactly. At 7am at Apple, they had over 1000 in standby line hoping to score one. Many didnt and those people learned their lesson and will be getting to Att hours before. If you show up at 6:30-7, it will be tough to get one. I just dont see Att having a big supply

I'm going to go ahead and get a 3gs because: 1. it will run OS 4 and 2. I'm tired of my Blackberry.

Go with Craigslist and grab a good used 3GS cheap. Thats what I did a week ago, sold my BB9700 and have been enjoying the iphone world. I miss a few of the email customizations and capabilities RIM allows that Apple does not, but not a big deal considering the other capabilities I gained.

In a few weeks I'll probably move to the iphone4 since I have an upgrade available. I want to see the white version in person and think it over beforehand. Plus it'll be nice to leisurely walk in and get mine with no muss or fuss.

Around my parts (Central Ohio) the biggest Apple store has been sold out since Saturday morning.. and they still have not got any more iPhones in from shipment. So I'd say AT&T stores are probably in even worse shape like you said.

I plan on waking up at 430 tomorrow morning to get there before 5. I drove by at 1030 tonight and nobody was there yet so figured 5 should be good.
