How does spark email access my contacts

When I use spark, it doesn't recognize the emails that are in my contacts. How can I get it to do that?

When you installed the app, did you give it permission to access your contacts when prompted? If you don't recall, go to Settings - Privacy - Contacts and then enable the toggle next to Spark, if applicable.

Same problem here on Mac. Contacts for Spark enabled, but I can't use the email addresses in my Contacts.

iOS does not allow a third party email app to be set as default. Therefore whenever you tap an email address outside of Spark you'll always be taken to the stock Mail app. You'll have to copy and paste the email address into Spark.

Or just type it in the "to:" area in Spark.

I had the same problem. I tried to switch OFF the Contact access for Spark mail in the Security and privacy settings (Last tab) and then ON again. Then I opened Spark mail and it worked. Hope this helps you too.
