How does cold effect the iPhone?

So I work in a job that occasionally has me walking into a walk in freezer to grab food products. When I do this, it's only for about 30 seconds at most. However, I always have my phone in my pocket. I'm wondering if being subjected to that freezing cold could mess it up in someway, even though it was only less than a minute or so and in my pocket. Should it probably be ok?

When you walk into the freezer, take it outside and leave it in your car (during the summer) to offset the freezer burn. If you get warning messages on the screen, just go back in the freezer. It will become a cyclical thing...freezer...car interior...freezer...car interior. You could make it a race eventually!

As long as you keep your phone in your pocket, your body temp will keep the phone warm. You're most likely to freeze to death before your phone.

For that short of a time, the phone won't even get cold. Even if it wasn't in your pocket, it would take 10+ minutes to get to freezing point, depending on the freezer temperature

I've heard that in some cold environment the touch screen won't work for the low temperature and if you just enter a low temperature place for few time, nothing serious.
