How do you use your Apple Watch?

I know when I first got my Apple Watch I played it with for some time, learning its functions and my own uses for it. After some time I’ve found that I mainly use it for the Activity app and notifications. I’ll use it for Apple Pay every now and again, but its main functions are Activity and notifications. So how do you use your Apple Watch?

It mainly sits in my watch box and I’ll wear my Breitling with a Fitbit. When I do wear my Apple Watch I use it for the time, a quick glance at the weather, fitness tracking and notifications.

Mainly for notifications and to Shazam a song without having to grab my phone, which is especially handy if you’re at a club or in a crowd.
Sometimes I use it for activity tracking and checking my work schedule.

I forgot that you could use Shazam on the Apple Watch. Does the search history show in the app on the phone as well?

Notifications, activity and workout/Gymaholic app mainly. Those are the reasons I bought it and continue to be the reasons I wear it daily.

Yes. It triggers Shazam on the iPhone and the listening and processing happens on the phone.
I haven’t had the need/chance to use Shazam without my phone with me, so I don’t know if the watch is capable of listening by itself.

To tell the time, to see the weather, to get and triage notifications, to track activity and sleep, to set timers (mostly while cooking). I track runs on occasion, in addition to my Garmin. I wear both watches but only use the workouts app once in a while, mostly when I've traveled to a new place, when I find the Garmin can be unreliable. Just today I used it to start overcast on the phone when my phone gave the temperature warning from being in the sun. Once in a while I respond to a text message.

After thinking about it, I also use my watch regularly for weather, the timer and changing music while working out.

I think I use it more than I realize. It's just really become a part of my day. It would feel weird to not where it at this point.

Awesome, thanks!

My Apple Watch is used primarily for notifications and, of course, telling time. I also use it for weather, Apple Pay, and some other random things.

Activity and sleep tracking, notifications, telling time, apple pay, and occasionally to respond to a text. I've always loved watches and this is my favorite one to date!

Some notifications, to see what time it is, calendar, plane boarding passes, weather tracking, custom timers, and alarms.
