How do you select the radio genres?

how do you select the radio generes

when i try to select a radio genre, it asks me to share the channel.
i don't know what that means. i just want to play a selected genre.

I'm assuming you're referring to Music. If so, Once you've selected the genre, it should start playing. If you're being asked to share the channel, select to not share it and move on. Share means you want someone other than yourself listening to that same genre, in particular if you have family share set up. At least that's my take on it.
