How do you flush all events from the stock calendar?

I have been experimenting with using DejaOffice to sync Outlook to the native iOS calendar. Unfortunately, I messed something up and have a bunch of duplicate entries in the native calendar. Way too many to do by hand one at a time.

I have searched online on how to delete all the events, but can't find anything that looks like what I have in iOS 12.

Any suggestions?

From within the native Calendar app on your iPhone, select “Calendars” at the bottom of the screen. Afterwards, select the circled i next to the calendar you want to erase. Scroll down to the bottom and then select “Delete Calendar”.

This is an issue I have seen when looking up these things online too. My screen does not match what others are seeing. So, in my case, I go to the native calendar and hit "Calendars" at the bottom middle of the screen. That takes me to a screen that has two sections titled "FROM MY PC" and "OTHER." The only item listed on the former is "Calendar" with a purple check mark next to it and a circle "i" at the right edge. The "OTHER" category has "US Holidays" with a green check mark and the words "Subscribed" under it. The other two options are "Birthdays" and "Siri Found in Apps." The last two are not checked.

If I select the circle "i" on the right side of "Calendar," I get a new page that only has the name "Calendar" at the top left, a section called "COLOR" and one called "NOTIFICATIONS." The color "Purple" is checked and "Event Alerts" is turned on.

There is absolutely no delete calendar option or any other items below "NOTIFICATIONS."

Are you syncing your Calendar with iTunes?

I have iTunes set to sync with Outlook. When the phone is attached via USB iTunes updates my phone calendar.

You may have to delete the calendar from within iTunes. Having said that, are you able to configure your iPhone with whatever account you're using with Outlook? That would allow direct syncing and easier management of your calendar, in my opinion.

The email account that is associated with my calendar is on my iPhone, but uses the native email client as I have to use Outlook for iPhone as my client for another account that uses Exchange server. I don't want to mix accounts in a single instance of Outlook. On my laptop, I access the Exchange server via a browser.

P.S. when iTunes is open and the phone attached, there is no listing for a calendar. I turned off the calendar sync in iTunes and it asked me if I wanted to remove the sync'ed calendar. I said yes and that seems to have flushed all calendar entries. Thanks.
