How do you delete recents in the map app on the iphone 5s

When I go into the Map App. on my iphone 5S and hit the arrow on the top left hand side of the search box directions comes up and below is a house (says Home) a building (says work) and a heart (says favorites) below that it says Recents and below that are address that I want to delete and I cannot delete them.
How do I delete them??

You have to delete them all at same time in Apple Maps. Oh, wait. It's changed thank goodness. Now you can delete as said above.
